Our background is socio-economic development with careers spanning across varying commercial sectors. 

With a passion for the natural world, in 2017, we re-directed our highly successful consultancy business to drive the change needed for nature. Forming The Seaweed Alliance which we self-funded, was our  inaugral leap into the complex marine world!

 

It soom became evident the urgency and the gap in solution provision to restore our ocean and transition to a new blue economy. ​We wanted to be part of the efforts in scaling and deploying more solutions, so it made sense to utilise our background experience and skills and widen the scope beyond seaweeed, which led to us foming Seas The Opportunity.
