Our Story

Since we founded The Seaweed Alliance in 2017, we have become acutely aware of the myriad of marine based innovative solutions that are being developed across the globe to tackle climate change and felt strongly, due to the limited time we all have,  the need to support advancement of existing solutions, transferring knowledge and accelerating the pace at which solutions are being deployed.

Our background and interest in socio-economic development within planetary boundaries, led us to establish Seas The Opportunity. A resource for regional developers interested in realising and integrating the opportunities that  innovative marine based solutions offer in developing new blue economies.
